This tutorial for Coppercube, will help you to more fully understand how to open and close drawers, doors, switches, etc.
The video will explain the ”proximity behaviour” – the non-visible box that you setup around an object which functions as a trigger for something to happen when you enter/leaves that area. The tutorial will also deal with variables and explain why you’ll need a ”collision box” on your player (if the player is an animated mesh). Also mentioned is how to set up folders in order to avoid a mess in the scene graph.
