Open/Close a drawer in Coppercube

This tutorial for Coppercube, will help you to more fully understand how to open and close drawers, doors, switches, etc. The video will explain the ”proximity behaviour” – the non-visible box that you setup around an object which functions as a trigger for something to happen when you enter/leaves that area. The tutorial will also deal with variables and explain why you’ll need a ”collision box” on your player (if the player is an animated mesh). Also mentioned is how to set up folders in order to avoid a mess in the scene graph.   YouTube tutorial – open/close a drawer Info, more tutorials and my review of Coppercube Coppercube at Ambiera website

How to make your objects shine in Coppercube

This tutorial aims to shed some light on how to make your objects less dull and more alive in Coppercube. As metallic or ceramic object reflects more light than say a textiles or a toothbrush, that falls somewhere inbetween. Making this change creates a more natural scene with more contrasting materials instead of everything appearing as if being made of the same dull material. The features to look for are the emissive and specular values, which are surprisingly a bit hidden in the editor and also unmentioned in the official documentation from Ambiera – the company behind Coppercube. But fear not, my You Tube video unveils the hidden secrets of this mystery!   You Tube tutorial Info, more tutorials and my review of Coppercube Coppercube at Ambiera website
